Carol Singing in Trafalgar Square on Wednesday 24 December 2026

Fill the air with festive cheer, singing carols under the dazzling Christmas tree in Trafalgar Square. Invite your dear ones too — we’ll be singing well-known traditional songs and everyone will be able to join in and sing along. 🎶✨

What to expect

We're looking to recreate the welcoming atmosphere of a rural Christmas Eve, where the folk come together to share their love for music and one another, passing on cherished traditions, and delighting in the simple joys of a community gathering.

How you may contribute

  • Practice the carols on the list (we'll hold rehearsals throughout December)
  • Prepare a carol you might like to sing to us (one that’s not already on the list)
  • Wrap up warm (wear your favourite jumper, woolly hat, mittens, etc.)
  • Bring an acoustic instrument you’d enjoy playing along with
  • Hold a flameless LED tealight candle
  • Share small Christmas treats
